The only issue is that it abstracts ElasticSearch almost totally. so it does actually abstract ElasticSearch almost totally. it's a react project so you can configure the components and the appearance at will but it gives a solid base, ready to deploy and use as is.Īpp Search then acts as a really good administration interface: You can perform search results relevance tuning and curation, set synonym sets, track the engine's usage and the logs. You can then directly download that frontend as a zip file. You can then generate what they call a "Reference UI" which is actually a decent frontend that uses their SearchUI.indexing documents with the Documents_API provided by Search App using keys that you can generate from the dashboard too. ![]()
